Whether you're just starting a new class or are halfway through, be sure to check out these academic success tips and resources from the librarian!

Get Help With Course Content and Academic Success Skills

  • Check to see if your professor has office hours! Many instructors offer times for students to meet with them and ask questions. Check your course syllabus for their office hours or contact your professor.
  • Struggling with time management or text anxiety?  Reach out to Megan Delano, Bay State's counselor!  She can be reached at mdelano@baystate.edu.
  • Take advantage of free online tutoring through NetTutor! Bay State offers free online tutoring, which you can access through your Canvas courses. You can get help in a subject, college success skills, or submit a paper for review. 
  • Check out the resources on the Academic Success Guides! The library has created a number of guides with resources to help you be successful in your courses. They are College Success StrategiesMath, and Writing.

Get Help With Research & Citations!

  • Research Guides-Check out the subject guides for your major. The guides provides recommended resources, citation help, and contact information for the library. You can also find these guides in your course in Canvas under Library Resources!
  • Need help with research or citations? The librarian is happy to help you find resources or help you with your citations. You can reach the librarian at library@baystate.edu!
